At my site, where I dump all my Sims for download and put various updates and stories, I run across a lot of different people. I'm glad of it too! I recently ran into Hetziie who is from Mexio. She download all my Sims, advised me of a link being down and then asked, bashfully, if I take requests for self Sims. Since I'd ever only done one I was kinda worried but I said sure anyways! I'm usually up for anything. So we've been emailing back and forth and learned a lot about each other(we like some of the same movies and TV shows...and of course Sims!:P)!

Anyways, I finished her self Sim yesterday and she said I could post up pictures if I wanted!:D So, here they are! Hetziie said she was happy about the outcome which makes me happy!:D

Take a peek... )

Now I have to work on my WoC entry. I called out from work sick. The first time I've done that since I've been working...anywhere but I can't get better if we keep passing germs back and forth. Supposed to go to the movies tomorrow to see Bounty Hunter but we'll see how that goes. Right now I just want to veg. The game is open in my room so when everything is quiet I'll go in and take some shots and write something out in time for my deadline. :P I promise!

And isn't it always good to see how ignorant Americans are? Serious? Threats and vandalism? That's going to help your cause? Sometimes you see how far we've come as a country and then...we see how our mind set really is. Kinda scary really. I live in the deep South so you can just imagine what's being said. My mantra?

"Keep your head low Phoenix and your mouth shut. Don't add fuel to the fire."

See? Sometimes I can be smart!:P

RG is updated! It can be found here.

Sims 3 is coming out in two(just checked time), in one day!! YAY!! I can't wait to pop it into my computer and play! I don't intended for it to replace Sims 2 at all. I have three different stories going but it'll be good to just open up the game and play with no intention of taking shots. I apparently can't do that with Sims 2! LOL! I have way too many computer games as is but one more won't hurt right? Riiiight!

Hmm...there was something else I was going to say but I forgot! Geez, I've been doing that a lot! Anywho! I guess I'll go surf the web and catch up on stories that I've been meaning to read! Plus catch up on the latest drama with the Obamas! On noes! They're actually a happy couple who go on dates! The horror! He's the freakin' president! He should have some perks! I'm just sayin'! *shrug* Whatever! Although he is making me leery about the whole banking business! The gov already takes their share of my money! They don't need to have complete control of my bank!! Blah!

Alright, enough politics. Gonna go scrounge around in the kitchen and find something to drink and maybe watch some eps of Family Guy if I don't find something to read!

I haven't gone to bed yet because I'm watching all the inauguration stuff on TV. I can't help it ! It's crazy all the hype everyone is putting on him before he's even DONE anything! *sigh* And sadly I am one of those people! Still, if even the slightest thing goes wrong while he's in office it's going to get all blown out of proportion because that's how people roll!

Anyways, I'm going to try and catch a couple hours of sleep before it's official. I'm acting like my mom isn't recording this...or like it's not going to be out on DVD in a couple of days! Once again, I can't help it! I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Nervous because for all that security something could still go wrong and excited because...well DUH!!

I had to calm down before I posted this.  I think this post will show how TRULY ignorant people are.  I come from a military family.  Great-grandpas, uncles, aunts, biological father...MOTHER, cousins, friends! So, while I might not agree with the war I still respect our troops.  So, why in the HELL would  you hang a flag upside down and/or at high mast because your candidate didn't win? Seriously, are you that mental that you don't really how disrespectful that is, not only to American but to your candidate who was a POW?!

I received several calls about this at work and it just pissed me off.  And then when I hear jokes that border on racist about Obama it makes me realize that this country STILL has a long way to go.  We may have a black man in the white house(who happens to be half white which people conveniently seem to forget) but we still have alot of 1800 mindsets.  It makes me sick.

Have you ever walked into a room and been the minority? Have you ever had someone call you outside your name because of the color of your skin? Have  you ever heard the thinly veiled insults about your race being uneducated, on welfare, waiting for a governement hand out? God, it just makes me want to vomit and wonder, truly wonder, when this will all end.

And it's just not blacks that are still hated on.  Asians, hispanics, Indians....I've heard all the jokes and sometimes wonder why I'm not the only one laughing.  I get it! It's a joke! Hahaha! But you don't make a joke on a person's trials.  Unless you've had to face them yourself.

So, for all you die hard 'Americans' out there who voted for McCain and are not disrespecting what he stood for, still STANDS for, I guess you're showing us how you really feel huh? You're taking your stance for your politician...not for your country.

It hurts...but then I remember where I am.  I might be near a military base but I'm still in the good ol' boy south.

I just don't understand.

And the number one thing that keeps popping up as to why people didn't vote for Obama? He's a Muslim! Uh...yeah! And? So, what you're saying is one religion is ALL WRONG because of some muslim radicals! Right, right! So, because his mom enrolled him in that school, because his father and stepfather were Muslim he's associated with that religion.  Umm...how many of us were forced to go to a church?! I know I was.  My family has dabbled in several religions.  Trying to find the right fit.  I have an uncle who is Muslim and he is as disgusted by all the radical muslims out there giving a religion a bad name.  I've sat down and talked to him about it and it hurts him to be judged because of his religion instead of who he is...So, I'm guessing all Christians are bad too because of the slaughtering they did back in Bible times?

When you have people outside your country wishing that one candidate will when and they can't even vote.  When they're crying and sobbing because that candidate won...what's wrong with the mind set of Americans?

I'm just feed up with all the bullshit.

11:01 p.m.: Obama is the next president of the United States! CNN, NBC and FOX have called the Democratic senator from Illinois the the winner. Grant Park in Chicago - and the country - goes wild. Obama wins California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, giving him 324 electoral votes to McCain's 120.

All I gotta say is...

I never thought...I never thought it would happen in my time!

*edited @ 12:26.  I have to say McCain gave a great speech.  And it didn't drag out the whole process! I loved Obama's speech.  Going to have to relisten to it later tonight! Right now, after hanging up with my sis and calling random people, I'm going to lay in bed and try to get some sleep before work.
