More Maxis Match randomness

Every so often I get the itch to play in my MM hood. Tonight/today was one of those days. Just a few pics that can be found here. I also need to get on making a Sim for the TS3 challenge!
Also a few pics are posted of a makeover I did of the Roth family in Riverblossom Hills!
I'm off to watch some Modern Family!

Maxis Match
Jan. 4th, 2011 12:43 amI was on my other user account today since I had to download some things from the Advent and SS from GoS(those threads are full of AMAZING content!) for my Maxis Match log on. So then I decided to make a Sim and just fiddle around because...I could! I was supposed to get some writing and picture taking done today but my sleep schedule was all screwed up and my little bros are still out of school so I have to watch them tomorrow! *sigh* Hopefully tomorrow night! *Crosses fingers* Anyways, have some pictures! I'm going to go finish watching the rest of Snatch. Heard it was good and a coworker let me borrow her copy! Anyone catch Sunday's Family Guy?? It was awesome! Stewie! Penis repellent! GAH!

So, I needed something to do to take my mind off of things. Decided to go into my Maxis Match hood and play around a little bit. Here's Daphne Stovall(just Daph if you know what's good for you!) and since I never use the trailers I thought why not toss her in there and see what happens. NOW I know WHY I don't use the trailers but...meh! It was fun!:P

More maxis-matchy pictures!:P I have to say I enjoy the cut scenes more now than ever since I don't use them in my storytelling. I had forgotten how cute they were!:) Anyways, last time I visited my Maxis Match hood Winni and Tula had moved in together and I spent some time finding them mates...only to realize that they were into each other!:P Surprise, surprise!:D Both were pregnant by the end of the last update and yes, it was by each other. Gotta love the pregnancy for all hack yeah?

Yeah, remember when I said I was going to try out Maxis-match? Well, I was trying to figure out how I was going to work it what with my four or five hoods stuffed full of CC and my pretty story Sims walking around(Oh Caine would be FURIOUS without his gelled up hair!:P) so, I was reading around and I saw that you could go under a different log in on your computer and have a fresh hood. What's that you say? So I did that, started downloading some Maxis Match stuff and well...

After playing Castaways for the last few weeks a weird kinda thought began to float in my head(which just got spurred even further(farther? niloublue's epic WIP skins) about starting a hood that just set up for Maxis Match(or MM but I always think S&M when I see that because I'm a freak and admit it!). It's just that Castaways takes less than five minutes to load where my ever so pretty game stuffed full of delicious CC takes about an hour and some change(darn those sexy feet and the high poly hair that I HAVE to have even if I never use!). I want to trim down my CC folder but it's such a mess I just stare at it. This is before I wised up to making folders and subfolders so it's still a bit of a mess! :S And the MM*snicker* hood would be for just playing because I can't IMAGINE having certain characters in my stories without all the pretty! Just keeping it real. And it would be easy for me to switch out folders because it do it all the time when I want to open up Bodyshop without it taking FOREVER!!
So, to any of my friends that play Maxis-Match(I'm just going to type it out to prevent my dirty mind from having a field day) what are some of the sites that you go to? Or LJ/dreamwidth friends that you have that do Maxis-match stuff?
Also...does anyone know why my townified eyes never spawn on the townies? I always get just the maxis eyes which really makes me want to not marry them into my game since those eyes seem uber dominant.
And I'm serious! This is not an April Fools joke!
So, holla at your girl guys!:P Right now I'm going to check and see if Questionable Content, Girls with Slingshots or any of my other fav webcomics updated before I go over to Netflix and watch something in my queue. True Blood should be in my hands tomorrow since they mailed it out already! Along with the streaming CD for my PS3! WOOT!!
