ACK! No, NO!

curiouscrowSo this is my routine when I get home from work:
Greet fam
Chuck my purse and whatever odd objects I have into my room
Turn on computer
Go to bathroom
Come back into room and put in my password for the computer
Today the routine was:
Greet fam
Chuck my purse and whatever odd objects I have into my room
Turn on computer
Go to the bathroom
Come back into room and put in my password for the computer to see that computer is not working
ACK!!! NO!!! First thought: I haven't done a backup since I started the Winchesters which means all those files and Sims I've made are gone! GONE!!!!
*take a deep breath* Think, think! A HA!! Get spray can of air and open up side of computer and start to spraying. Apparently it's sometimes the simple stuff is the stuff that needs to be done!
I am now backing up my files as we speak! So, Ravensworth, Lycan Tales and those zany Winchesters are safe...for the time being.
*goes to eat some ice cream to soothe my nerves*
