Random, random...oh! What's that?

Well, I just received a lovely compliment. Apparently the commanding officers were talking about me in a meeting and this shift(which is B shift) want to keep me on their shift. I did my whole blink thing(which is my shocked look) and was flattered. Apparently they think I'm nice and pleasant and I have good work ethic. I've only been here for seven months so I was totally blown away. Especially considering I thought this shift didn't like me.

We all(the desk clerks) work on rotating shifts. As you can see from my schedule. Okay, let me break it down since I have like four hours to kill.
A shift is from 2200 to 0600
B shift is from 1400 to 2200
C shift is from 0600 to 1400

And for those of you not familiar with military time: 
A shift 10pm to 6am
B shift 2pm to 10pm
C shift 6am to 2pm

So, right now I'm on B shift but the schedule changes again on the 23 and we'll be running straight shifts which is that we'll have the same shift for a whole month instead of 3 B's here and 2 C's here. Got it? If not let me know and I'll try to explain it. Anways back to the original point which was *scrolls up to see her original point*

Oh yes! So we all rotate between the three shifts. We were asked if we wanted to stay on one specific shift and everyone said no. But obvious B shift likes the idea of the same desk operator(insert me here) and want me to speak to my supervisor about it. The schedule is already done for the next two months so it's highly doubtful it'll change and then in order to be fair so everyone gets the same shift I'd have to go another two months so then we'd be back where we started since there is the four of us plus my supervisor.

I like my job and it pays well. Besides the fact I HAVE a job in this economy. I just don't know if I'd want to stay on the same shift day in and day out. Especially getting off at 22, er 10. My whole day is kinda shot but at the same time I would like to have the same schedule. *sigh* But in the end it isn't up to me anyways. I have to think of the greater good!<~~~I was watching Hot Fuzz the other day and that made me chuckle! 

Alright, I'm gonna go watch a movie(see why I love my job? Sometimes I do get free time!)! Later peeps!
